MyIQ Virtual Card Transactions
Has anyone experienced a MyIQ virtual card going into negative balance due to a technical glitch in the payment system, even though the website itself didn't show any active accounts or purchases at the time?
I'd like to know if anyone has had a similar situation with unclear transactions, how long does the bank conduct an internal investigation, and does the platform refund funds if the charge occurred due to a code error during a billing update?

Re: MyIQ Virtual Card Transactions
A virtual card most often goes into negative balance for two reasons: either there was a delayed authorization, such as an offline debit or double currency conversion, or there was a genuine disconnect between the issuing bank and MyIQ billing during the update.

Re: MyIQ Virtual Card Transactions
A card can go into a negative balance even if its balance is zero or there are no active subscriptions visible. If a charge is caused by a technical glitch or an incorrect payment, banks typically dispute the transaction, verify the claim, then refund the funds. Similar cases involving unclear charges or virtual card behavior were discussed by MyIQ on Reddit where users share their experiences, explain how to properly submit a support request, and describe what to write to the bank to quickly cancel recurring charges while recovering the money.
